In the legend of the Great Sorrow, a tale for chines children, the Big Emperor doomed the Painter to be hung by the hands. By contorsions, the Painter managed to touch the sand with a tiptoptoe and he drew mices, which climbed his body and burnt the rope. He was catched again and the Emperor walled up behind a canopy of royal tapestry representing the flowers of the Middle Empire. A flower appeared then on the wall, invisible amongst all the official ones. When the Emperor returns, all the flowers on the tapestry were faded, except one.
